Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal practices, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and more. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development across multiple practice areas including patent law, tribal law, workers' compensation law, and personal injury law
  • Draft, review, proofread, and edit legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity
  • Manage legal case files and document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval of information
  • Assist attorneys with client interviews by preparing questions, taking detailed notes, and organizing case materials for review
  • Support litigation processes through document review, data entry, filing, and maintaining organized case files in compliance with firm procedures
  • Coordinate project management tasks related to estate planning or environmental law projects to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Perform administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, handling clerical tasks, and supporting executive administrative functions
  • Conduct thorough research on legal issues involving UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), landlord-tenant law, or securities regulations to inform case strategies

Experience

  • Proven paralegal experience. Preference if you have worked in taxes.
  • Experience with legal administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading, transcription, and document review
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Effective interviewing skills for client intake sessions and attorney consultations
  • Proficiency in using legal project management tools and contracts drafting software like PCLaw is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone etiquette and written correspondence while supporting attorneys’ administrative needs
